Memorial Urn

Sitting at the top of the memorial are large cinerery urns; two flanking the entrance to the Memory Hall and two more flanking the entrance of the Exhibit Hall. Each of the sculpted limestone urns have a band of laurel with the emblems of each of the branches of service. In the background, the sphinx Memory faces the morning sun as it breaks the horizon.
